We kindly ask you to follow our simple rules to ensure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable visit at Into the Woods. Toddler Frame is 0-3 years only. Main frame is 4-10 years only.
Softplay
- All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult carer, who must remain within the building at all times. Carers have full responsibility for children in their care for the duration of their visit.
- To provide adequate supervision, you should have at least 1 adult for every 5 children in your group.
- For the safety and enjoyment of all, Into the Woods regulates the number of visitors present at any one time. Please respect this by leaving promptly at the end of your allotted session.
- For safety and child protection reasons we have CCTV in operation.
- NO outside food or drink is permitted in the premises.
- Please ensure the right age ticket is purchased. We reserve the right to charge the full Child price amount on the door if a Pre-walker/baby ticket has incorrectly been purchased instead of a Child ticket.
- Fighting, bullying and abusive language will not be tolerated. Guilty parties will be asked to leave without refund. Rough play will not be tolerated and may be asked to sit in the cafe for 5 minutes before being allowed to re-enter the frame. Should inappropriate behaviour continue you may be asked to leave without refund.
Before Entering the Play Areas
- Remove shoes and wear socks at all times. Socks may be purchased from reception.
- Wear appropriate clothing. Ideally legs and arms should be covered to minimise the risk of personal injury.
- Tuck in clothes and remove clothes with ropes or cords.
- Remove all valuables or sharp objects, including jewellery, pinned badges, watches, and belts with large buckles.
- Do not take sharp objects, or small toys into play areas.
- Do not take food or drink into the play areas.
- Take care when wearing spectacles (which should have shatter proof lenses).
- Ensure hands are washed thoroughly after using the toilet.
- Do not throw balls or other objects.
- Do not climb slides, netting, or play structures, and do not play in front of slide exits.
- Follow equipment guidelines and age recommendations. Any children in the wrong age frame will be asked to go to the appropriately aged frame. This rule is in place for the safety and enjoyment of all children.
- A child ticket must be purchased for any child that can walk unaided. We reserve the right to charge the full Child price amount on the door if a Pre-walker/baby ticket has incorrectly been purchased instead of a Child ticket.
Cancellation Policy (General Bookings)
We operate a strictly no-refunds policy. Session transfers are possible with a minimum of 24 hours' notice.
Party Bookings
- Outside food and drink are not permitted at parties, except for the birthday cake, which must be nut-free.
- Children are not permitted to re-enter the soft play area once they have entered the party room for their meal.
- Parties include 90 minutes of play, followed by 30 minutes in the party room. Softplay & Role Play combo parties include 120 minutes of play, followed by 30 minutes in the party room. Please ensure your group adheres to these timings. Overrunning your time in the party room may incur additional fees.
- All children attending must be supervised by a responsible adult. We recommend one adult per five children.
- Socks are required for both children and adults entering the play areas.
- All party guests must follow the general Rules of Play and safety guidelines.
Cancellation Policy (Party Bookings)
A non-refundable deposit of 50% will be retained in the event of any cancellation or change of date. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the party will be charged in full.
Roleplay Town
- Into the Woods does not accept responsibility for the supervision of children within the premises, therefore all children must be supervised by a responsible adult/guardian at all times.
- Please note we have a large number of props; some toys may be small and need additional supervision, particularly for children under 3 years old who require direct supervision.
- Please remove shoes before entering the play space.
- Adults and children must wear socks at all times whilst in the play space. Socks are available for purchase at reception.
- No food, drinks or chewing gum should be taken into the play space and NO outside food is permitted within the building.
- Play is restricted to a 90 minute allocated play session.
- Five minutes prior to session end time we will play the "Clean Up" song. We encourage children to help put toys back in their correct place. It also acts as a cue that the session has ended.
- Role play village doors are purpose built for children. Accompanying adults should be aware doorways are lower than expected and should mind their heads.
- Customers who are unwell, or who have been unwell, should not visit the centre for 48 hours.

- For health and safety reasons, in the unlikely event of an accident or injury occurring, please immediately report it to a member of staff.
- Upon leaving the building, please ensure all Into the Woods props and property are left behind.
- Into the Woods cannot be held liable for any loss or damage to personal property during your visit.
- CCTV is in operation inside and outside the premises, and is recorded for the safety of everyone.

- Tickets are non-refundable. 24 hours' notice is required for session transfers.
Cancellation Policy (Special Events)
Please note that tickets for special events, including Halloween and Christmas, are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.
